The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) has conducted by the National Testing Agency NTA. This agency conducted JEE Main 2021 examination on behalf of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD).

The Government of India has given the responsibility to NTA to conduct for JEE Main examination from 2019 onwards.

This year (2021) the JEE MAIN examination comprised two papers. (1) The paper 1 will be conducted for B.E./B.Tech undergraduate programs to take admission into NIT, IIITs, other central government-funded institutes (CFTI), Institutes/Universities funded recognized by participating state governments.

Around 15 lacks of students will go to participate this year in this examination. The qualified students of JEE Main can apply or eligible for the JEE Advanced 2021 examination. Which is conducted to take admission into IITs.

*Each Subject will have two sections. Section A will be of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) and Section B will contain Questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value. In Section B, candidates have to attempt any five questions out of 10. There will be no negative marking for Section B.

Method of determining merit Conversion of the raw score in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Total into NTA scores. Overall merit shall be prepared by merging NTA scores of all shifts of all days.
Method of resolving ties Tie between candidates obtaining equal Total NTA scores in Paper1: B.E./B.Tech will be resolved in the following descending order: ▪ NTA score in Mathematics, followed by ▪ NTA score in Physics, followed by ▪ NTA score in Chemistry, followed by ▪ Candidates having a lesser ratio of negative to positive responses

JEE MAIN 2021 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria already made by the organization for the JEE Main 2021 examination. The details as below for jee main 2021 age criteria.

There are no Age limit criteria for JEE Main 2021 examination. The students who have completed 12th or equivalent examination in 2019, 2020, or appearing in 2021 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE Main 2021 examination.

Choice of Cities

The candidates must have to fill their choice of cities for the Jee main 2021 examination center. The candidate can select four cities according to their convininet in priority basis. But the final allotment of city decision will be made by only NTA. The final decision will be not entertained on the basis of any kind of request from the candidate side.

So all the candidates advised to fill choice of cities very carefully in the JEE main 2021 examination application form.

Reservations

As per the below details and in the case of Institutes run by the Central Government, the reservation would be applicable as mentioned below:

15% of the seats Scheduled Castes (SC) candidates

 7.5% seats for Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates

 27% seats for Other Backward Classes (OBC) Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) candidates as per the Central List*

10% of the seats for General Economically Weaker Sections (General - EWS) candidates

Persons with Disability (PwD) with 40% or more disability.

JEE Main 2021 Medium of Question papers

The medium of the question paper will be in Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu for the first time, in addition to Hindi, Gujarati and English. It’s first time in history the above language considered for the choice of medium of question paper in JEE Main 2021 examination.

JEE MAIN 2021 Admit Card (e-Admit Card)

The admit card will be released by the NTA at their official website. Candidates can download their admit card by entering the enrollment number of JEE main 2021 and other required details on portal. Candidates can download their provisional e-admit card from the official portal.

The e-admit card will be available at jeemain.nta.nic.in for a download, as well as we will update you here also about the notification of JEE main 2021 admit card whenever it will release by the NTA.

The date of examination shift/timing will be given in his/her e-admit card. No candidate will be allowed to appear at the examination centre, on the date and shift/time other than that allotted to him/her in his/her Admit card.

In case a candidate is unable to download his/her Admit Card from the website, he/she should approach the NTA Help Line Number: 0120-6895200 between 10.00 am to 5.00 pm. 

The candidates are advised to read the instructions on the Admit Card carefully and strictly follow them during the examination.

JEE Main 2021 Result

JEE Main 2021 result will be result by the National Testing Agency (NTA) at their official website at https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/ candidates can check JEE MAIN 2021 result/scorecard details.

Candidates must enter their application number and password/date of birth. After the declaration of the JEE main result if candidates get qualify or eligible to apply for the JEE Advanced examination, then they will apply for the JEE Advanced examination.

  • NTA will declare JEE Main 2021 for the respective (February, March, April, May) session on their official website, we will notify you here also when official notification will be announced by NTA.
  • Along with the result, NTA has also released the list of candidates who have scored 100 percentile and JEE Main 2021 state toppers.
  • Candidates can check their result by inserting their details date of birth and (JEE roll number) roll number.
  • The result will be there, and the score will be available on the basis of their performance.
  • Candidates check their scorecard also in online mode it will be available with the JEE Main result.
  • The scorecard consists of name, category, roll number, date of birth, state code eligibility, category and nationality, subject-wise NTA scores, etc. The conducting authority will declare the JEE Main rank list for each category.
  • There will be two types of rank lists - All India Rank and Category Rank.
