International Math Olympiad 2020 

International Math Olympiad 2020 known as IMO 2020. IMO is the most popular examination in India. IMO is organized by Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF). Candidates from class 1st to 12th appearing are eligible to participate in this examination. Candidates can apply for IMO 2020 from their respective registered schools which are registered with the organization. Minimum 10 applications required from each school for school participation. An individual application for the IMO application is not acceptable by the organization. 

International Math Olympiad 2020

International Math Olympiad 2020-2021 has a 2 level of examination. Level 1 will be held on 1st December, 22nd December and 19th January 2021. Level 2 of the examination will be held on 2ND February and 3rd February 2021. 

Students from class 1st to 12th appearing are eligible to participate IMO 2020 examination. 1st Level qualified candidates are eligible for Level 2 examination. Class 1st and Class 2nd are not required to participate for 2nd Level. All the information will be sent to the respective registered schools which are registered with SOF along with the prospectus, registration forms, posters, and other details. If the school not registered with the SOF, they can request for the registration from info@sofworld.org or by calling 0124-4951200.

International Math Olympiad 2020has a 2 Levels examination.

International Math Olympiad 2020 Level 1

The first level of examination has conducted at respective registered schools during school time. Students from class 1st to class 2nd appearing will be eligible to participate in this level.

The IMO 2020 exam question paper has consisted of four sections as below:

1. Logical Reasoning

2. Mathematical Reason
3. Everyday Mathematics
4. Achievers Section

• IMO exam 2020-21 level 1 is an objective-type test.
• The time duration of the examination is 60 minutes.
• There will be a total of 35 MCQs – objective type questions for class 1st to 4th and 50 MCQs – objective type questions for class 5th to class 12th.
• The language medium for examination is English.
• There are separate IMO 2020-20221 question papers for each class.
• The syllabus will be followed like CBSE, ICSE/ISC, and State Board.
• 1st Level examination will be conducted during school hours.

International Math Olympiad 2020 Level 2

From class 3rd to class 12th appearing students can participate in this examination. Qualified candidates would include the following criteria.

At School Level: Class topper where at least 10 students from the class appear in the examination and scores at least 50% qualifying marks.

At Zone/State Level: Top 25 rank holders from each Zone and each class. At International Level: Top 5% of candidates, class-wise, who appear in the 1st level exam internationally.

Hot to Apply for International Math Olympiad 2020 Registration

Candidates can apply from respective registered schools for IMO 2020 registration. Candidates should have to submit all the details as required to the school before given due dates by the school. The school will forward your registration details according to the registration process. The organization will send all the details to the registered school for candidates registration.

Candidates have to pay registration fees at registered schools at Rs. 125*/- (including GST). As per SOF criteria school may add extra *Rs. 25/- per student towards honorarium of incharge, remuneration to teachers to teach and guide, and for other expenses. Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) will not accept individual application forms directly from the candidates. Schools have to submit all the details to the SOF organization with the required details before the given due date.
