PRMO 2020 exam registration has delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic issue. The organization will expectedly update the details till the end of August 2020 on their official website at HBCSE or MTA: ttp://www.mtai.org.in/prmo
PRMO 2020 Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates born on or after August 1, 2001.
- Candidates studying in Class 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 are eligible to write PRMO 2020.
- Candidate must be a citizen of India.
Candidate’s responsibility to determine if she/he satisfies the eligibility norms for each stage of the Mathematical Olympiads. If any student found at any stage and if eligibility criteria do not meet as per the norms, then-candidate he/she may immediately be disqualified from the examination.

PRMO Syllabus 2019
The syllabus for Mathematical Olympiad (regional, national and international) is pre-degree college mathematics. The Problems under each topic involve a high level of difficulties. The syllabus level will be based on class 11th and 12th. The topics will be cover as per below.
- Arithmetic of integers.
- Geometry.
- Quadratic equations and expressions.
- Trigonometry.
- Co-ordinate geometry.
- System of linear equations.
- Permutations and combination.
- Factorization of polynomial.
- Inequalities.
- Elementary combinatorics.
- Probability theory and number theory.
- Finite series and complex numbers.
- Elementary graph theory.
Important Area for more Focus
- The Major area covers algebra, geometry, number theory, and combinatorics.
PRMO Exam 2020 Pattern
- Number of Questions: 30 Questions
- Duration: 3 hours (10:00 AM To 1:00 PM)
- Answer type: Number type (one or two digits)
- The medium of Question Paper: English and Hindi
Note:
Students who want to attend the examination in Hindi, required to indicate their choice at the time of PRMO registration.
How to Apply for PRMO 2020 Exam?
Candidate’s responsibility to determine if she/he satisfies the eligibility norms for each stage of the Mathematical Olympiads. If any student found at any stage and if eligibility criteria do not meet as per the norms, then-candidate he/she may immediately disqualify from the examination. After the confirmation as per edibility criteria, students can apply for registration as per the below process.
Students can register from the registered school center or college.
- They have to collect the form from PRMO registered school or college centers.
- Students should Register through a registration center.
- Candidates have to required to submit the form along with fees to the respective registered school.
- OPEN SCHOOL (NIOS) students can also directly register for the PRMO examination through the online portal. Candidates of non registered schools can contact the registered school and apply the same.
PRMO Exam 2020 Registration Fee
- From the registered Schools can registered students individually or in groups.
- Registered centers will collect the exam fees from the students and they will update it at the portal.
- PRMO 2020 registration, students have to pay a fee of Rs. 230 to the registration center
- For PRMO exam registration fee will be of Rs 230.00 for each candidate's non-KV and non-JNV students.
- For PRMO exam registration fee will be of Rs.125.00 for each KV and Rs.100 for each JNV student. For such students, the registration center will remit the entire amount (Rs.125 or Rs.100) to MTA.
PRMO Exam 2020 Result
Pre-Regional Mathematics Olympiads examination results will be declared online at the official website. As well as we will update you here on our TOPPERS TALK website for your more convenient. Selected or qualified the PRMO examination will be participating in next level Regional Mathematics Olympiads (RMO).
Approx 300 candidates from classes 8, 9, 10 11, and upto 60 students from class 12th will be selected to participate in the Regional Mathematics Olympiad (RMO).
For the next level, Regional Mathematics Olympiad (RMO) upto 300 candidates selected from class 8, 9, 10, 11, and upto 60 students from class 12th will be selected. from KV and JNV. For KV and JNV, up to 5 percent of top performers from Classes 8, 9, 10, 11, and up to 1 percent from Class 12 will be selected to participate in RMO.
